In a powerful gesture of integrity and community upliftment, Salam TV, in collaboration with Infotrust Property Consultants, has officially handed over a titled plot of land in Busiika to Lutaaya Huzairu, the first runner-up in the 2025 Omumanyi wa Salam TV competition.
The handover ceremony, held this week, signaled more than just the fulfillment of a promise—it showcased the power of partnership and trust in delivering real impact to everyday Ugandans.
Speaking during the event, Hajji Karim Kaliisa, Managing Director of Salam TV and Salam Charity, commended Infotrust for their professionalism and unwavering support.
He also used the opportunity to launch the 2026 edition of Omumanyi, calling on participants to register early and take advantage of the life-changing platform.
“We are building a community of empowered, informed, and inspired Ugandans,” Kaliisa said. “And this is just the beginning.”
Miriam Tusubira, CEO of Infotrust Property Consultants, reaffirmed her firm’s commitment to social impact.
She praised the synergy between Infotrust and Salam TV, noting it had boosted their visibility—especially among Muslim communities—while allowing them to give back in meaningful ways.
“We don’t just sell land. We build futures. This land title is a symbol of opportunity, and we’re proud to deliver it,” Tusubira stated.
In a show of good faith, Infotrust pledged to complete the land transfer process free of charge within one week, a move that further strengthened public trust in their services.
Sheikh Mafo Shafik also addressed the gathering, lauding Infotrust’s integrity and Salam TV’s consistency in championing causes that elevate local communities. He urged Ugandans, including those in the diaspora, to invest in land as a secure asset for future generations.
As for Lutaaya Huzairu, the land recipient, the emotions were unmistakable.
“This is more than a prize—it’s a dream fulfilled. I’m deeply thankful to both Salam TV and Infotrust. They have shown true integrity,” Lutaaya said while holding up his new land title.
Following the handover, the Salam TV team visited both Infotrust’s headquarters and JB’s Tailor Headquarters in Ntinda.
They commended both organizations for their commitment to innovation, creativity, and youth empowerment—values that align with Salam TV’s broader mission.
This latest milestone reflects an inspiring model of media–business collaboration that delivers tangible, long-term benefits to Ugandans.
With the launch of the next Omumanyi edition, hopes are high that more lives will be changed—one land title at a time.
