MTN Uganda has announced the immediate availability of new 079 numbers, following approval from the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
This expansion, covering the range 0790000000 to 0790999999, aims to meet the growing demand for connectivity across the country, offering more options for new customers joining the MTN network.
The 079 prefix now joins MTN’s existing number portfolio, which includes 077, 078, 031, 039, and 076.
Customers can purchase these new numbers at any MTN Shop or Service Centre nationwide for the standard price of UGX 2,000, upon presentation of a valid national ID.
