Ugandan music lovers were treated to a night of Afrobeat magic as Nigerian sensations Magixx, Bayanni, and Boy Spyce brought the house down during the East Side Tour at Ndere Cultural Center on Saturday, April 5th, 2025.
The Mavin Records trio jetted into Kampala early that morning and headed straight into soundcheck mode before the venue opened to fans at 5 p.m. Organized by Talent Africa Group, the event pulled in a lively, early-bird crowd ready to soak up the vibes.
Sheilah Salta and DJ Tony kicked off the evening with infectious energy, setting the perfect tempo for the night.
They were followed by an exciting line-up of Ugandan talent, including Sheilah Gashumba, Denesi, Ava Peace, Joshua Baraka, and Rickman Manrick—all of whom kept the stage ablaze and the crowd on its feet.
Then came the headliners. Bayanni opened the Nigerian set with crowd favorites that had fans chanting every lyric. Magixx followed, delivering silky vocals and undeniable charisma.
Finally, Boy Spyce closed out the trio’s performance with electric stage presence, leaving fans begging for more.
From start to finish, the atmosphere at Ndere Cultural Center was nothing short of electric. Singalongs, dancing, and flashes of phone lights lit up the venue as fans celebrated an unforgettable night of East African and West African musical synergy.
