Kiprop and Chelangat Shine at National Athletics Championships

Kiprop won the senior men's race at the National Athletics Championships

The 31st edition of the National Athletics Championships delivered thrilling performances.

Even without Uganda’s elite long-distance runners like Jacob Kiplimo and Joshua Cheptegei, the competition was fierce. This event showcased the depth of talent within Uganda’s athletics scene.

Kiprop’s Triumph in the Men’s Race

In the senior men’s race, Police’s Kenneth Kiprop demonstrated impressive endurance and speed. He outpaced nearly 100 athletes to secure a well-deserved victory.
