Revelers at the Holi Festival in Kampala tossing vibrant colored powders into the air.

The KCCA Grounds in Kampala transformed into a vibrant canvas of color as Kansai Plascon teamed up with the Rajasthani Association, the Indian Association of Uganda, and the Indian High Commission to celebrate the annual Holi Festival.

Known as the Festival of Colors, Holi is a cherished Hindu tradition marking the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.

This year’s event was a spectacular display of joy, cultural unity, and community spirit, drawing revelers of all ages who eagerly joined in the festivities.

A Celebration of Color and Togetherness

Attendees immersed themselves in the lively spirit of Holi, tossing vibrant powders and colored water into the air.

Children gleefully splashed ‘gulal’ (colored water solutions), while adults exchanged ‘abir’ (dry powder) as a symbol of goodwill and friendship.

The celebration was further enriched with traditional Indian delicacies, music, and dance, creating an atmosphere of warmth and festivity.

“Holi is a time for togetherness, laughter, and renewal,” said one attendee. “This year’s event was truly unforgettable.”
