Ugandan music legend Kabuye Semboga is set to celebrate 42 years in the industry with a grand concert at Kampala Serena Hotel on May 23, 2025.
Organized by Balunywa Promotions, the event promises an unforgettable night of music, nostalgia, and high-energy performances from some of Uganda’s finest artists.

At a press conference held on March 19, 2025, Juma Balunywa of Balunywa Promotions described the concert as a landmark event in Uganda’s music history.
“This is more than just a concert; it’s a tribute to Kabuye Semboga’s enduring legacy. His music has shaped Uganda’s cultural landscape for over four decades, and this event is a chance for fans to relive those magical moments,” Balunywa said.
The concert will feature Semboga’s most iconic hits, including Ebisanyi, Kangume, Sheila, and Fahima, performed live with a full band.
Star-Studded Lineup
Joining Kabuye Semboga on stage will be a lineup of Uganda’s top artists, including Aziz Azion, Betty Mpologoma, Mesach Ssemakula, Geoffrey Lutaaya, and Bruno K.
More surprise acts are expected to be announced, making this a must-attend event for music lovers.
The press conference was attended by industry heavyweights like Mesach Ssemakula, Aziz Azion, and Joanita Kawalya, who expressed their excitement about honoring Semboga’s contributions to Ugandan music.

Tickets for the concert will be available at UGX 150,000 (Standard Ticket) and UGX 3,000,000 (Table for 8).
