Airtel Uganda has reinforced its commitment to superior connectivity by launching five new network sites in Kabale Municipality.
This expansion is part of Airtel’s ongoing investment in network infrastructure, ensuring reliable service in the greater Kigezi region.
At the commissioning event, Airtel Uganda’s Sales Director, Wongani Muthayi, highlighted the company’s dedication to bridging the digital divide and fostering economic growth through seamless connectivity.
“Connectivity is more than just a service; it’s a gateway to regional trade, education, business growth, healthcare, and financial inclusion. Kabale needs a strong, reliable network to thrive as a hub of commerce and innovation. These new sites will enhance coverage, improve call clarity, and provide faster internet speeds,” Muthayi stated.

This development will directly benefit local businesses, students, farmers, and families by improving connectivity and access to digital opportunities. The expansion is further supported by 96 Airtel Money branches, 3,400 agents, and two service centers in the region.
Kabale Municipality Deputy Mayor Kedress Mutabazi, representing the LC5 Chairman, expressed gratitude to Airtel Uganda for addressing past network challenges.
